Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Schools
  • Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico
  • Eligibility for board certification
  • Completion of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship in family medicine

As a Family Medicine Physician in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, you’ll practice comprehensive medicine while caring for soldiers, retirees, and their families. Unlike many civilian healthcare systems, Army physicians focus on patient care, not insurance authorizations, excessive administrative burdens, or production quotas.

What You’ll Do
