Job summary

Physicians Care in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver exceptional patient care across ages with acute and chronic conditions. You will diagnose, treat, and educate patients while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers a full-time schedule, rotating 12-hour shifts, weekend work, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, CE reimbursement, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Active state APRN or PA license.
• Current FNP or PA-C board certification.
• Current DEA license or eligibility.
• Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service to patients, visitors and coworkers.
• Perform medical assessments, treatment, management and follow up of clinic patients including primary care, urgent care, occupational health, DOT physicals and workers compensation.
• Lead, direct and assist during emergencies while maintaining a comforting and reassuring environment.
• Oversee on-site laboratory, x-rays, injections, and specimen collections.
• Ensure operations align with medical policy and professional standards.
