Southwest Care Center in New Mexico seeks a licensed Nurse Practitioner to deliver primary healthcare services within a licensed scope of practice. You will examine patients, diagnose, and manage treatment while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Master's Degree in Nursing (ARNP)
Current Certification by the New Mexico Board of Nursing
National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
Post-training experience in the medical professional field, preferably in primary health care
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing primary healthcare services to patients. Practice is carried out within licensed scope of practice under the supervision of the medical director and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Provides patient care by examining and diagnosing patients, and carrying out or supervising medical treatment, therapy, and follow-up; referring patients for specialty consultation and treatment; educating patients in medical care; and documenting patient-doctor transactions for proper record keeping and billing.
Assists and receives direction in the provision of patient care by consulting with the supervising and/or other SCC physicians on the following situations, as needed:
Assists the medical director or designee in the recruitment, retention, and evaluation of medical staff; assisting with the planning and evaluation of primary medical care and service programs; and participating in peer review activities. Provides input, recommendations, and feedback regarding the program of services and new or proposed changes in existing clinical policies and protocols to the clinical services director. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by participating in continuing education or seminars related to job responsibilities. Maintains knowledge of the statutes, regulations, guidelines and other requirements governing the provision of health care in New Mexico Participates in quality measures and chart reviews.
