Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to join the Pediatric GI division in Manhattan. The role focuses on outpatient care for pediatric and adult patients with a broad range of GI conditions, including EGIDs, within a collaborative practice with physicians.

The NP will provide comprehensive nursing care, coordinate treatments, participate in outpatient trials, and support documentation and program activities across primary locations including Fink Ambulatory Care

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
• Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Certification as NP (ANCC or equivalent) as soon as feasible after graduation.
• Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized outpatient nursing care to pediatric and adult GI patients.
• Manage EGID patients including eosinophilic esophagitis in collaboration with the EGID program team.
• Coordinate care, review labs, educate patients and families, and document appropriately.
• Participate in outpatient clinical trials and assist with research activities.
• Support pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure follow-up for EGID patients.
