Job summary

Empower Mental Health in North Carolina is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for in-person disability evaluations of Veterans. The role offers flexible scheduling and multiple employment types (Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Per diem) with competitive hourly pay.

Licensure as an NP or PA is required, with at least two years of clinical experience. DBQ experience and veteran patient engagement are a plus in this hands-on, patient-centered position.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Experience completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) is a plus.
• Prior work with veterans is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient with computers and online documentation.
