Job summary
Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform Veteran disability evaluations in person. This role offers flexible scheduling and multiple employment types including part-time, contract, and per diem.
Required at least two years of clinical experience and active NP or PA license. DBQ experience and strong communication skills are preferred to support high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- At least two years of clinical experience.
- Experience working with Veterans is a plus.
- Proficiency with computers and online documentation.
- Experience completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct compensation & pension disability evaluations for Veterans.
- No medication management or continuous care required.
- Tailor workload with flexible scheduling.
