Job summary

Thrive Health Smithtown in Westhampton Beach, NY is seeking a professional Full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient base. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, massage therapists, and acupuncturists to deliver high-quality collaborative health care.

Key duties include evaluating patients, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering tests, and delivering preventative care.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Comfortable with EMR system and Microsoft Office.
• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner education program registered by the New York State Education Department.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a NYS-approved accrediting body (ANCC/AANP) or be eligible for board certification.
• Current and unrestricted licensed Nurse Practitioner by the NYS Department of Education or be eligible for licensure.

• Diagnoses and treats disease and manages chronic illness.
• Orders appropriate laboratory and special examinations or tests; interprets results.

Job description

We are looking for a professional Full-time Nurse Practitioner who can deliver excellent medical care to a wide variety of patients. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for caring for patients and maintaining accurate and current patient records. The successful candidate will work as a team with our Physical Therapists, Massage Therapist, and Acupuncturists and will assist in delivering exceptional collaborative health care to each and every patient.

• Current and unrestricted licensed Nurse Practitioner by the New York State Department of Education or be eligible for licensure.
