MainStreet Family Care in Montgomery, Alabama is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a full-time role in an urgent care setting. You will provide comprehensive care across urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine, while leading a small team of medical assistants.

New graduates welcome. Expect onboarding, ongoing training, pediatric focus, and opportunities to advance within a fast-paced clinic that serves families.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification required.
• MSN or higher education required (new graduate friendly!).
• DOT certification required or willingness to become DOT certified (we cover the cost).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
• Minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.).
• Suturing and splinting where needed.
• General orthopedic evaluations/management and review of x-rays.
• General dermatology and eye problems management.
• General EKG interpretations and emergency management.
• Gynecology care and pediatric care across ages.
• Occupational medicine and telemedicine provision.

Exciting Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Montgomery, Alabama!

KidsStreet Urgent Care is growing, and we are looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team full‑time! You will provide patient‑focused care to help our patients feel better FAST! Services provided to the public include urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant will be able to lead a small team while working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced urgent care environment.

This is an incredible opportunity for FNPs early in their career – including brand new graduates! (Still haven’t taken boards? That’s okay!) Following our onsite hosted HQ orientation and training, you will have several training shifts with existing providers in one of our clinics. The support doesn’t end there: from a complimentary pediatric urgent care CE course to an NP on‑call to help you with clinical decision‑making as you grow into the role, the support we have to help you achieve ultimate career success as a provider is unmatched. Schedule

KidsStreet Clinic Hours – we are open extended hours, 7 days a week:

• Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend, sample below:

• Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (OFF), Saturday (ON) and Sunday (ON).
• Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (ON), Saturday (OFF) and Sunday (OFF).
