Job summary

Compass Health Network in Warrenton, MO is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide direct patient care in our primary care clinics. You will work with a dedicated team to support health, wellness, and continuity of care for patients at all stages of life.

This full-time role requires an MSN from an accredited program and active Missouri APRN certification. We offer generous salary, liberal PTO, CE reimbursement, comprehensive benefits, and a 6% retirement plan match.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an approved graduate nursing program required.
• Advanced Practice Nurse with active certification for specialty approved by the State of Missouri required.
• Must have practice experience as an FNP.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to patients within their scope of practice.
• Serves as a resource for consultation and referral for providers for other disciplines.
• Ensures continuity of care for services in conjunction with hospital admissions and specialty referrals.
• Initiates and supports efforts to promote wellness concepts and self-responsibility for health.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
• Discusses cases with physician and other health professionals to prepare a comprehensive patient care plan as needed.
• Provides high quality of care with respect to accepted standards. Participates in peer review process.
• Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains acceptable patient productivity numbers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Document all appropriate patient activity in EMR and submits office visit billing codes in compliance with CMS coding guidelines.
• Comply with Collaborative Practice Agreement that meets the practice requirements established by Missouri Board of Nursing, Missouri Board of Healing Arts, and Missouri laws.
