Family Nurse Practitioner for Urgent Care in Los Angeles Position
Title: Family Nurse Practitioner
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Employment Type: Part-time (6 shifts a month)
Salary: $75/hr. plus Overtime and Malpractice Coverage

Position Overview

Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted “Best Urgent Care” eight years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. We currently have 18 clinics located throughout Southern and Central California to serve all your urgent care needs. We are hiring a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner for our newest Los Angeles, CA (Century City) location.

Key Responsibilities

• Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• Full-time will be a minimum of 6 shifts per month with one weekend per month (8 am to 9 pm).
• Treat 4 to 5 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
• Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
• Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray. All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation, document patients in 1 minute.
