MainStreet Family Care is seeking a Floating Family Nurse Practitioner to provide patient-focused care across multiple North Central Alabama clinics. You will lead in a fast-paced urgent care environment, covering pediatric through adult patients, with opportunities in telemedicine and occupational medicine.

Flexibility to work across several sites is essential. The ideal candidate is a Board-Ccertified FNP with an MSN or higher, strong communication skills, and experience with EMR and MS

Qualificações

• Must hold Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification.
• MSN or higher degree required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide urgent care and primary medical care across multiple clinics.
• Perform minor procedures: toenail removal, foreign body removal, suturing.
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and manage related conditions.
• Review X-rays with radiologist for over-read when needed.
• Handle general dermatology and eye problems.
• Interpret EKGs and manage emergency situations.
• Provide general GYN care and care for children of all ages.
• Participate in telemedicine and occupational medicine services.
• Collaborate with clinic teams to ensure high-volume efficiency.

Floating Family Nurse Practitioner – North Central Alabama

MainStreet Family Care is growing and we're looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to workacross multiple clinics in your area!)! You will provide patient-focusedcare to help our patients feel better FAST! Boom! Services provided to the public include urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant will be flexible working with teams in different clinics and providing leadership in a high volume and fast-paced urgent care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing
• Splinting
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
• General Dermatology
• General eye problems
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine

Schedule:

• Shifts determined two months in advance
• MainStreet Clinic Hours
  • Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• KidsStreet Clinic Hours (Montgomery, AL, Pelham, AL, Mobile, AL, Tallahassee, FL, Gainesville, FL, Wake Forest, NC, Greenville, NC, Chapel Hill, NC, Wilmington, NC, Winston-Salem, NC, Athens, GA, Augusta, GA and Columbus, GA only)
  • Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Work hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, floaters, etc.

Qualifications:

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
• MSN, or higher education required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
