Job summary

iRecruitmd is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality primary care in Maine. The role covers wellness, preventive care, and management of common conditions within licensure scope, with potential supervisory requirements per state rules.

You will maintain patient records, collaborate with the clinical team, and participate in community outreach while ensuring compliance with safety and organizational policies. Travel between clinical sites is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program; master's degree preferred.
• Active state license to practice.
• CPR and ACLS certifications or equivalent.
• Must be able to travel between clinical sites as needed.
• Strong communication, analytical and documentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per clinical protocols and scope-of-practice regulations.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient health records.
• Interpret data to identify risk factors and support wellness.
• Diagnose and treat common health conditions and responses.
• Counsel individuals and families on health-related issues.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community resources.
• Refer patients to appropriate services when needed.
• Contribute to team care planning and daily huddles.
• Represent the organization professionally during outreach.
