Christ Community Church in DeLand, FL, seeks a full-time Associate Pastor of Family Ministries to cast vision and lead our children, youth, and young adult ministries within a unified discipleship pathway.

The ideal candidate will be a pastor-teacher with strong preaching, teaching, and communication skills, a mature faith, and a collaborative, servant-hearted leadership style, ready to recruit and train volunteer leaders.

Qualifications

• Mature, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and clear calling to pastoral ministry.
• Strong preaching, teaching, and communication across all ages.
• Strong organizational and relational skills.
• Collaborative, servant-hearted approach to ministry.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 30 hours of theological and ministry credits.
• Agreement with CMA doctrine and values and willingness to become licensed/ordained if not already CMA worker.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual leadership for family ministries spanning children to young adults.
• Cast vision and provide practical leadership for family ministry leaders and volunteers.

Christ Community Church is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor of Family Ministries to provide spiritual leadership and vision for our children's, youth, and young adult ministries along with other opportunities to take part in the broader teaching and pastoral ministries of the church. This opportunity is a good fit for a gifted pastor-teacher who wants to shape a unified discipleship pathway spanning childhood through young-adulthood, and who longs to see whole families grow together in faith. Potential candidates should be capable of casting vision while providing practical leadership for a team of family ministry leaders and volunteers. The ability to recruit, train, and equip volunteer leaders is vital to this position. Christ Community Church is committed to serving the community through partnerships and outreach.
