Job summary

Capital Health seeks a Core Faculty member for the Family Medicine Residency. You will provide educational leadership, supervise residents in outpatient settings, and support accreditation efforts while maintaining high clinical standards.

The role involves teaching didactics, evaluating milestones, and collaborating with the Program Director on curriculum updates. 40 hours weekly with a salary range of $234,000–$280,000, base on 1.0 FTE.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Family Medicine Board Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach, supervise, and evaluate family medicine residents based on ACGME core competencies and milestones.
• Collaborate with the Program Director on curriculum development and updates.
• Precept residents in the outpatient continuity setting.
• Serve as resident advisor, monitor milestones and support remediation.
• Deliver didactic sessions and participate in academic conferences.
• Complete resident evaluations with constructive feedback.
• Participate in Clinical Competency Committee and Program Evaluation Committee.
• Supervise scholarly activity and engage in presentations/publications.
• Maintain compliance with ACGME, DNV, and Capital Health accreditation.
• Model professionalism and support resident well-being.
