Responsibilities include hiring, training, policy development, and ensuring regulatory compliance. A Bachelor’s degree and supervisory experience in a medical setting are preferred, with clinical operations knowledge valued.

Responsibilities

  • Manages offices in a cost-effective, efficient manner ensuring high quality care in a courteous atmosphere.
  • Oversees start-up of new physician practices and credentialing activities.
  • Coordinates operations of each practice including flow management, documentation, staffing, oversight.
  • Coordinates hiring, conducts evaluations, and participates in coaching/discipline.
  • Provides orientation for new employees and ensures compliance with policies.
  • Maintains current job descriptions and completes evaluations for staff.
  • Prepares operating, salary, and capital budgets and monitors budgets.
  • Supervises and schedules staff to ensure department coverage.
  • Reviews policies to stay compliant with regulations.
  • Develops and implements policies governing practice operations.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of programs affecting teamwork.
  • Oversees revenue cycle management including billing modifiers and coding.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
