Job summary

NOW Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a Spanish-speaking Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for outpatient primary care in Chicago, IL. The position is full-time and permanent, with a focus on serving a Latinx community across West Lawn to Oak Lawn and West Loop.

The clinician will manage ambulatory care for all ages, perform histories and exams, diagnose and treat, and provide patient education within a PCMH team. Sponsorship is open for eligible candidates (J-1 or H-1B).

Qualifications

• Must speak Spanish at a 7/10 or better; many patients primarily Spanish-speaking.
• Experience working in an ambulatory primary care setting.
• Familiarity with PCMH model and collaborative teams (MAs, receptionist, care coordinators, care managers).

Responsibilities

• Manage ambulatory Family Medicine/Internal Medicine primary care for all ages.
• Elicit patient histories, perform examinations, diagnose, and provide evidence-based treatments.
• Provide patient education and counseling.
• Work within a PCMH team to coordinate care.

Description

• Full time, permanent position

• Ability to see all ages - pediatrics to adults
• Manages ambulatory Family Medicine primary care medical practice by eliciting patient histories, performing physical examinations, providing accurate clinical diagnoses, prescribing evidence-based and cost-effective treatments and providing patient education.

• Must speak Spanish at a 7 out of 10 score or better, many patients are older with hearing issues, and they only speak Spanish
