Colonial Healthcare, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Physician to join our team in Manning, SC. Optum is a clinician-led care organization that supports you with resources, a broad network and a mission to improve patient care.

You will examine, diagnose and treat acute illnesses, educate patients, and coordinate with specialists while documenting promptly. Compensation ranges from $237,500 to $384,000 annually with a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required or equivalent medical degree.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine required.
• Active unrestricted medical license in South Carolina or ability to obtain one.
• Current DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Examines, diagnoses, and treats patients for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses.
• Counsels and educates patients and families about acute and chronic conditions or concerns.
• Formulates diagnostic and treatment plans and prescribes medications and therapies.
• Orders lab and imaging tests to determine and manage treatment plans and follow up.
• Coordinates care with specialists and ancillary services and completes documentation promptly.
