Job summary

UNC Health Care in Raleigh, NC seeks a per diem physician to provide professional medical services with independent clinical judgment. The role involves ordering tests, prescribing treatments, counseling patients, and coordinating with specialists to ensure comprehensive care.

The position requires board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and graduation from an accredited medical school. DEA/ACLS certifications and MD license are preferred.

• Document medical and clinical care in the patient’s record; assign codes for third-party billing.
• Supervise other medical professionals.
• Adheres to the principles of medical ethics.

• 1. Provides professional medical services to patients.
• 2. Exercises independent professional judgment in the care and treatment of patients.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
