Job summary

Michigan Health Specialists is a physician-led primary care group where clinical judgment stays with the physician. You will build a full-spectrum outpatient panel — newborns through seniors — supported by NPs, PAs, medical assistants, on-site X-ray, EKG, and ultrasound, and an administrative team that handles the paperwork so you can practice medicine.

Full-spectrum outpatient family medicine: acute care, chronic disease management, well-child and adolescent visits, adult and geriatric care,

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed ACGME- or AOA-accredited Family Medicine residency.
• Michigan medical license (or license-eligible before start).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible, ABFM or AOBFP.
• DEA registration and Michigan controlled substance license.

Responsibilities

• Build a full-spectrum outpatient panel — newborns through seniors — with support from NPs, PAs, MAs, on-site X-ray, EKG, and ultrasound.
• Collaborate with and supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
• Help shape clinical protocols and practice policy; Medical Director opportunities available.

• Office procedures within your training — laceration repair, skin biopsy, joint injection, cryotherapy, and more
• Collaborate with and supervise our nurse practitioners and physician assistants
• Help shape clinical protocols and practice policy; Medical Director opportunities available
