UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit healthcare organization offering comprehensive primary, walk-in, and specialty care services. • Established team of 3 physicians and 2 APPs serving Sac City and Lake City areas.
• Opportunity to practice outpatient and inpatient medicine in an established clinic and hospital setting.
• Cohesive team and supportive staff offering autonomy and practice-building flexibility.
• Full-time position with dedicated administrative time and flexible scheduling for patient access.
• Experienced clinical and non-clinical staff familiar with the patient community.
• Fully integrated Epic EMR system for care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient care.
• Emergency medicine is optional.
• Perform general family medicine procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, laceration repairs, casting, etc.
• Evaluate and interpret patient information to make informed care decisions.
• Maintain a patient-focused, friendly, team-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Eligible or Certified in Family Medicine.
• Ability to obtain and hold an Iowa medical license.
• Current authority to prescribe medications as needed.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (H1-B cap exempt).
• J-1 waiver sponsorship available.
