Job summary

AltaMed Health Services seeks a physician to provide medical services to its patients within a Team-Based Care Model focused on population health and integrated delivery of care.

The role requires a valid California medical license and board certification in the chosen specialty or board eligibility with a commitment to become certified within 18 months. EMR experience and a current BLS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Physician with a valid, unrestricted California medical license.
• Board certification in chosen specialty or board-eligible with plan to become certified within 18 months.
• Experience with computer-based systems; Electronic Medical Records experience preferred.
• Minimum BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• Malpractice insurance coverage as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical services to AltaMed patients within the Team-Based Care Model.
• Delivers care aligned with population health, evidence-based medicine, and integrated delivery of care.
