Job summary

Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC seeks a civilian Family Practice Physician for its Family Medicine Residency Clinic. Salary: Up to $335,000 per year with incentives, moving expenses, full malpractice coverage, and comprehensive health/retirement benefits.

As part of the residency program you will supervise residents and medical students, perform clinical duties as an attending physician, and provide mentorship while ensuring quality patient care and adherence to ACGME requirements.

Qualifications

• US Citizen.
• Board Certified Family Medicine.
• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy from a US/Canada school.
• Permanent, full, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US.

Responsibilities

• Supervise medical residents and students in the Family Medicine Residency Clinic.
• Act as attending physician, examine patients, order tests and procedures, and diagnose while mentoring residents.
• Presume diagnoses of more serious conditions and seek specialist input as needed.
• Oversee students and residents within the Primary Care Services Division and Family Medicine Residency Clinic.
• Meet ACGME requirements for residency faculty and participate in faculty development and education presentations.
