Eugene sits between the Cascade Mountains and the Oregon Coast, with a regional airport offering direct flights to major hubs. It is a university city with a thriving food and arts scene, nationally recognized running trails along the Willamette River, craft breweries, local vineyards, and the University of Oregon's academic and athletic presence woven into everyday life.
Excellent schools, a progressive and community‑minded population, and easy access to both ocean and mountain recreation make Eugene the kind of place physicians tend to stay. It is large enough to offer genuine urban culture and small enough that your work in the community is visible and valued.
