Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a part-time Family Medicine APC for the Hazleton practice in Hazleton, PA. The team consists of 2 physicians and 2 APCs, with a 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule and a shared regional call rotation.

The position is 0.6 FTE with flexible Monday–Friday hours. LVHN offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to teach and advance clinically.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a clinician in Family Medicine/Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine preferred.
• A Valid PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for own patient panel and see additional acute and follow-up patients as needed.
• Call is shared with other practices in the region and goes to nurse triage first.

More than 2,000 primary care and specialty physicians, as well as more than 800 advanced practice clinicians, are employed by the health network through LVPG.This practice is looking for a part time (.6) APC and is located in Hazleton PA. At this practice there are 2 Physicians and 2 APCs. The practice is open Monday-Friday 7:30a-5p with call being rotated with clinicians in the region. Patient slot durations consist of 40 minutes for new patients, child wellness/preventative, wellness/preventative for 46 and older, TOC, and medical clearances and 20 minutes for wellness/preventative for 45 and under, return patients and acute visits.
