Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our wound care-focused team. This role emphasizes clinical autonomy, hands-on procedures, and a no-call lifestyle.

You will perform surgical debridement and other bedside procedures, manage chronic wounds with advanced dressings, and collaborate with SNFs across the area. We offer comprehensive training and a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• Willingness to practice in Washington, D.C. area.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care and perform surgical debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic non-healing and complex wounds.
• Collaborate with care teams in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.

Family Medicine Physician Salary & Compensation

• Average Annual Earnings: 200,000-250,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)
• High Achievers: Top performers earn $300,000+ through performance bonuses
• Pay Structure: Per-patient and per-procedure pay, plus quarterly bonus programs
• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
