Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens support in the San Jose area. The position is full-time with one Saturday per month, outpatient clinic, standard primary care responsibilities, and a 21-patient daily target.

California Medical License, DEA and BLS (AHA) are required. Credentialing is expected within 30 days. AMN Healthcare provides malpractice insurance and travel/lodging support for contractors.

This facility is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need; Santa Clara County or Alameda County areas available.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday 8a-5p, FT. One Saturday a month is required.
• Patients per day: 21
• Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• Scope: Standard Primary Care
• State Licensure: California Medical License, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association (AHA)
• Responsibility for Mid-Levels: Yes
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days or less
