Job summary

U.S. Army Medical Corps is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to deliver high-quality care to Soldiers, their families, and eligible beneficiaries in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will support humanitarian missions and contingency operations while benefiting from a robust military healthcare system and specialty training opportunities.

Requirements include an MD/DO, US licensure, board eligibility, and completion of an approved internship. Applicants must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Current US license to practice medicine
• Eligibility for board certification
• Completion of at least one year of approved residency/internship
• U.S. citizenship

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality family medicine care to Soldiers, their families, and eligible beneficiaries in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Support humanitarian missions, contingency operations, and peacetime health care objectives
• Participate in perioperative and post-operative patient care as part of a comprehensive military health team

Requirements:

• Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply with permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
• Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
• Eligibility for board certification
• Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship
• Between 21 and 42 years of age (waivers granted on a case-by-case basis)
• U.S. citizenship
