Job summary

Tal Healthcare is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide high-quality primary care in Brooklyn, NY. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) with occasional extended hours and a rotating 24-hour on-call commitment, serving a predominantly Hispanic patient population.

Requirements include MD/DO with NY license and Board Certification/Eligibility in Family Medicine. Spanish fluency is highly preferred; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO licensed to practice in New York State.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
• 1–2 years outpatient experience preferred.
• Spanish fluency highly preferred for patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient setting (18–20 patients per day) during 8-hour clinics.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and manage acute/ chronic conditions.
• Participate in quality management and performance improvement initiatives.
• Mentor medical students informally and support clinic development.
• Handle administrative duties related to patient care and clinic operations.
• Collaborate with onsite nurses, RNs, and MAs to optimize patient flow and care delivery.
• Adhere to schedule: Mon–Fri 9:00–17:00, occasional extended hours; no weekend clinics.
• Be available for rotating 24-hour on-call coverage (phone consultations).

Our client, a leading healthcare provider dedicated to community health and comprehensive outpatient services, is hiring a Family Medicine Physician. This esteemed facility seeks a compassionate and experienced Family Medicine Physician to deliver high-quality primary care services in Brooklyn, NY. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a predominantly outpatient setting with an expected volume of approximately 18–20 patients daily during 8-hour clinic sessions.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Participate in quality management and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
• Mentor medical students informally, fostering professional development within the clinic.
• Engage in administrative responsibilities related to patient care and clinic operations.
• Collaborate with full onsite support staff, including LPNs, RNs, and MAs, to optimize patient flow and care delivery.
• Adhere to scheduled working hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM), with occasional extended hours (12:00 PM–7:30 PM) once weekly; no weekend clinics are required.
• Be available for rotating 24-hour on-call phone coverage, typically one week per month, involving phone-only consultations.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with valid licensing to practice in New York State.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a similar outpatient setting is preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish highly preferred, given the predominantly Hispanic patient demographic.
• Excellent communication skills, compassionate bedside manner, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• No visas are sponsored for this position; candidates must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and accept new residency graduates.
