Job summary

AMN Healthcare is assisting a Michigan facility in recruiting a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage. The physician will provide outpatient primary care for all ages, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with about 22 patients per day.

The assignment includes credentialing in roughly 1–2 weeks; board-certified physicians with a Michigan license and a valid DEA are preferred. AMN offers malpractice insurance and travel, lodging, and dedicated support.

Qualifications

• Board certification required by the time of start.
• Active Michigan medical license and valid DEA.
• Board-certified Family Medicine physician with outpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care for all ages.
• See approximately 22 patients per day in a general internal medicine setting.
• Coordinate with mid-level providers (2–4) and manage credentialing timeframe (1–2 weeks).
