Job summary

Skilled Wound Care, a premier national physician group, is hiring Family Medicine Physicians in Fort Worth, TX to lead wound care initiatives across local facilities. This no-call role features a true Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, and opportunities to add hands-on procedures with full training.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: We welcome Family Medicine physicians, as well as Internal Medicine physicians and surgeons of all backgrounds. No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.

• Average Annual Earnings: $200,000-250,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)
• High Achievers: Top performers earn $300,000+ through performance bonuses
• Pay Structure: Per-patient and per-procedure pay, plus quarterly bonus programs

Family Medicine Schedule

• Part-Time: 2-3 days per week
• Full-Time: 4-5 days per week
