Denver Health seeks a 0.5 FTE Family Medicine Physician to deliver comprehensive primary care to adults and children across its clinics. This part-time role emphasizes preventive, acute, and chronic disease management with appropriate referrals to specialty care when needed.

You will work with multidisciplinary clinical teams, perform procedures within your scope, and provide guidance to staff in ambulatory and inpatient settings.

Formación

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• State licensure to practice medicine in the applicable state.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge and skill in privileged procedures as outlined by the Denver Health Department of Family Medicine.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with acute and chronic illnesses.
• Provide preventive and therapeutic care including prenatal care, injury care, and chronic disease management.
• Coordinate referrals and determine when specialty consultation is needed.
• Perform procedures within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other care team members.
• Provide guidance to clinical staff in ambulatory or inpatient settings.

Denver Health is seeking a 0.5 FTE Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care to adults and children across Denver Health clinics and care locations. This part-time opportunity includes preventive, acute, and chronic disease management, with referral to specialty care when appropriate. The physician will care for patients across the lifespan and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams.

The Opportunity

Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation for patients of all ages with acute and chronic illnesses, including complex conditions.

Provide preventive and therapeutic care, including acute care, prenatal care, injury care, chronic disease management, and procedures within scope of practice.

Determine when specialty consultation or a higher level of care is needed and coordinate appropriate referrals.

Perform procedures consistent with training, clinical privileges, and Denver Health standards.

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other members of the care team.

Provide guidance to clinical staff in ambulatory or inpatient settings as needed.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Current physician licensure through the applicable State Medical Board.

Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association.

Knowledge and skill in privileged procedures as outlined by the Denver Health Department of Family Medicine.

Computer proficiency required.
