Job summary

Aunt Martha’s Health & Wellness in Danville, IL seeks a compassionate Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time role at our South Holland clinic. You will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care across the lifespan and support collaborative care delivery.

This position is J-1 visa eligible and focuses on high-quality care within a team-based clinic, with competitive compensation and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
• Current Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Current and unrestricted DEA license.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine and primary care services for all ages.
• Document medical histories and physical examinations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose illnesses and prescribe medications and treatments.
• Administer immunizations and provide follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate EMR records and documentation.
• Collaborate with care teams and leadership to optimize clinic operations.
• Complete required organizational training and compliance requirements.

Position Summary

Aunt Martha’s Health & Wellness is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our team at our South Holland clinic. This full‑time opportunity provides comprehensive, patient‑centered primary care services to patients across the lifespan while supporting quality clinical operations and collaborative care delivery.

This position is J-1 visa eligible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine and primary care services for infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients in accordance with current standards of care
• Practice within evidence-based clinical guidelines and organizational policies
• Obtain and document complete patient medical histories and physical examinations
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and procedures
• Diagnose illnesses and prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
• Administer immunizations and provide follow‑up care
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and health maintenance
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, clinical reports, and correspondence within the EMR
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary care collaboration
• Work closely with clinical leadership, support staff, and care teams to ensure efficient clinic operations
• Complete all required organizational training and compliance requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned
