Job summary

OptumCare Colorado in Lakewood, CO, is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to join our established team with occasional coverage in nearby Golden. Enjoy a 4-day work week, 18-20 patient visits daily, and strong on-site support in a physician-led organization focused on innovation and exceptional patient care.

Qualified candidates hold an MD/DO and BC/BE in Family or Internal Medicine, with Colorado licensure and required certifications.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and board certification/eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Colorado medical license or the ability to obtain it before start.
• DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Full spectrum outpatient primary care.
• 18-20 patients per day.
• Light call schedule (approximately 1 weekday call/month and 3-4 weekends/year).
• Collaborate with a physician-led team and dedicated MA support.
