Job summary

The University of Missouri-Columbia Department of Family & Community Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver primary health care and selective medical services in collaboration with practice physicians. The role will focus on Family Medicine patients for ongoing, preventive, and acute care needs.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Anticipated salary range is $110,000–$126,000 annually with University benefits; internal applicants should check Talent Profile for

Qualifications

• PA licensure in Missouri is required.
• Ability to provide primary health care and address acute care needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments with high autonomy and expert diagnostic skills.
• Perform patient histories and physicals; order and interpret diagnostics; monitor labs and treatment goals.
• Collaborate with a supervising clinician on complex cases and as agreed in the collaborative agreement.
• Serve as a resource for patients, families, nursing staff and other health care professionals.
