AMN Healthcare is seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for locum tenens support in Atlanta, GA. Start ASAP with December 2026 availability. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, no on-call, 16 patients per day. Malpractice insurance arranged and travel logistics handled by AMN Healthcare.

The ideal candidate holds a Georgia license (or license in process) and can start quickly to meet current coverage needs in a primary care setting.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Georgia medical license preferred
• Locum tenens start ASAP / December 2026 start

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to patients in a busy clinic setting
• Manage ~16 patients per day with emphasis on preventive care and chronic disease management
• Participate in team-based care without on-call requirements

Education

Active Georgia Medical License preferred
