Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support in a correctional facility near Pittsburgh, PA. The role focuses on primary care with a preference for emergency medicine background and requires an active Pennsylvania license.

Shifts are nights (6pm–6am) Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday, totaling about 80 hours every two weeks. Credentialing is 60–90 days, with the possibility to work during credentialing.

Qualifications

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Thursday – Saturday, 6pm – 6am and every other Wednesday from 6pm - 6am. (80 hours every 2 weeks)
• Patients per day: To be determined
• Practice Setting: Correctional Facility
• Scope: Primary care; Emergency medicine background/experience preferred
• State Licensure: Must have an active Pennsylvania license
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days, however, the provider may be able to work while being credentialed.
