AMN Healthcare is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in Maine. Outpatient primary care, no procedures, Epic EMR. Schedule is Monday–Friday, five 8-hour shifts, with no weekends.

Board-certified or board-eligible, BLS, and Maine license (or willingness to obtain) are required. Expected patient volume is 18–20 per day with 15–30 minute visits. Temporary privileges available; malpractice insurance arranged; competitive pay and support with

• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine.
• Active Maine license or willingness to obtain.
• DEA registration is required.
• BLS certification required.

This facility is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, five 8-hour shifts per week; no weekends.

Practice Setting: Outpatient only; hospital outpatient department.

Types of Cases: General primary care for patients of all ages; no required procedures.

Patient Volume: Approximately 18–20 patients per day; appointment lengths are generally 15 or 30 minutes.

Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days; temporary privileges available.

Electronic Medical Record: Epic.

Certifications Required: Board Certified or truly Board Eligible; Basic Life Support required.

Licensure Required: Active Maine license or willingness to obtain one; Drug Enforcement Administration registration required.
