Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Medical Assisting Program.
• Completion of a clinical externship is required or considered with extensive clinical experience.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsabilités

• Assist with screenings, health maintenance information, medication changes, allergies and specimen collection.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the care team.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and examination areas.
• Perform administrative duties: scheduling, data entry and patient registration.

Formation

Graduate from an approved Medical Assisting Program

Clinical externship completed

BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross)
