Qualifications

• Board-certified ABFM or AOBFM in Family Medicine is required.
• Florida medical license is required or must be obtainable.
• Prior teaching experience in ambulatory and inpatient settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervising residents in ambulatory family medicine continuity clinic and hospital-based inpatient care
• Participating in curriculum design and evaluation consistent with ACGME Family Medicine Program Requirement
• Engaging in scholarly activity including educational innovation in didactics, research, or quality improvement
• Participating in resident evaluation, mentorship, residency/hospital committee meetings, and recruitment
• Maintaining a continuity clinical practice

Optional: OB labor and delivery services with call

Qualified Candidates

• Must be board certified ABFM or AOBFM in Family Medicine
• Must have or be able to obtain a Florida medical license
• Prior teaching experience in both ambulatory and inpatient settings is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
