Job summary

Spartanburg Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in Spartanburg, South Carolina seeks a Family Medicine Faculty Physician to join its core faculty. The role supports an established program affiliated with MUSC and EC/OC medical schools, with substantial resident education and balanced outpatient/inpatient duties.

The ideal candidate will be board-certified in Family Medicine, able to obtain SC licensure, and may bring POCUS or Sports Medicine training.

Qualifications

• Must have Family Medicine board certification.
• Ability to obtain SC medical license.
• Ideal candidate will have POCUS or Sports Medicine training.
• Prior academic teaching or faculty development fellowship preferred.
• Obstetrical care is encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Teach and mentor residents on core rotations.
• Participate in curriculum design and faculty development activities.
• Collaborate with affiliated medical schools and hospital leadership.
