Key Responsibilities
  • Educator and Mentor: Shape residents' medical education, guide them through clinical rotations, supervise patient care, and foster professional growth.
  • Clinical Practitioner: Provide active primary care practice within Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group, delivering comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.
  • Program Building: Contribute to curriculum, policies, and procedures for the new residency program.
  • Resident Supervision & Teaching: Direct supervision, bedside teaching, and formal instruction in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Clinical Excellence: Deliver high-quality, evidence-based family medicine care to your patient panel, serving as a role model.
  • Curriculum Development: Assist in creating engaging learning experiences, lectures, and workshops for residents.
  • Scholarly Activity: Encourage resident participation in quality improvement projects, scholarly pursuits, and research.
  • Accreditation Support: Participate in activities related to ACGME accreditation and program development.
