Job summary

UNC Family Medicine at Downtown Smithfield is seeking a part-time APP (NP/PA) to join our primary care team in Smithfield, NC. This onsite role supports a clinic that provides wellness visits, hospital follow-ups, and ongoing chronic care.

You will care for patients aged 12 and up, perform minor procedures, and work under the UNC Health Medical Group umbrella with a focus on patient-centered, timely service.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina (NP/PA).
• Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients aged 12 and up in a primary care setting.
• Manage wellness visits, hospital follow-ups, and chronic diseases.
• Perform minor skin procedures as needed and document care accurately.
