Lincoln Memorial University’s DCOM program in Orange Park, Florida seeks an Adjunct Instructor in Family Medicine LMU-DCOM to join the teaching team. The role includes delivering lectures, facilitating labs, and supporting clinical education for medical students.

You will prepare exam questions, meet with course directors, and model professional behavior while guiding learners through diverse clinical experiences on campus and in community settings.

Formación

• Licensed DO, MD, PhD, or other doctoral degree required.
• Board Certification in specialty area preferred for physicians.
• Experience in medical education is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large.
• Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students.
• Promote by precept and example a general atmosphere within LMU - DCOM of respect for knowledge, thought and inquiry.
• Deliver lectures utilizing the latest body of knowledge and evidence.
• Prepare examination questions as requested.
• Meet with course directors during as needed and deliver lecture(s) according to published schedule.
• Commit to working in a professional multicultural environment that fosters diversity.
• Serve as an example to learners and colleagues of appropriate professional behavior.
• Demonstrate and supervise students during clinical educational activities utilizing standardized patients and/or volunteer patients.
• Supervise students during authorized and approved patient care events including health fairs, sports physicals, or community outreach programs.
