Stange Law Firm, PC seeks a motivated Family Law Attorney to join its planned Sioux Falls office in South Dakota. The attorney will manage cases, negotiate settlements, and appear in court, with support and resources of a national firm.

Family law experience is preferred but not required, and the role includes flexible incentives and comprehensive benefits. The base salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000, with potential discretionary bonuses and signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases from inception through resolution.
• Effective courtroom, negotiation, and advocacy abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger team.

Responsabilités

• Help establish and develop the firm’s presence in the Sioux Falls market.
• Manage family law matters from inception through resolution.
• Advise clients and maintain regular, professional client communication.
• Draft pleadings, motions, judgments, orders, discovery, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, hearings, mediation, and trial.
• Appear at conferences, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively for clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and support departments.
• Participate in firm training and professional-development programs.
