Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to manage a full caseload and provide strategic representation to clients throughout Southeast Georgia.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of family law experience, strong litigation skills, and can independently manage cases while collaborating with a team across multiple office locations. Relocation assistance is available to join our Southeast Georgia practice.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Georgia Bar license in good standing.
• 4+ years of family law experience preferred.
• Strong courtroom, negotiation, and litigation skills.
• Experience handling complex family law matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload involving divorce, legitimation, custody, visitation, support, property division, protective orders, modifications, and enforcement.
• Develop case strategies and advise clients throughout the legal process.
• Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in mediations, hearings, settlement conferences, and trials.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to manage a full caseload and provide strategic representation to clients throughout Southeast Georgia.

The ideal candidate has strong family law litigation experience, can independently manage cases, and is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities

Family Law Practice

• Manage a full caseload involving divorce, legitimation, custody, visitation, support, property division, protective orders, modifications, and enforcement.
• Develop case strategies and advise clients throughout the legal process.
• Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in mediations, hearings, settlement conferences, and trials.
• Handle complex custody, support, and equitable division matters.

Client & Case Management

• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case progress and expectations.
• Independently manage deadlines, court requirements, and case documentation.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff across multiple office locations.
• Participate in professional networking and community engagement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Georgia Bar license and good standing.
• 4+ years of family law experience preferred.
• Strong courtroom, negotiation, and litigation skills.
• Experience handling complex family law matters.
