Reade Law Firm, PC is a boutique family law firm in Peabody serving clients across the North Shore and Greater Boston. We guide clients through divorce, custody, support, and the full range of family law matters.

We are looking for an experienced family law attorney who can step in and manage cases from intake through trial, with opportunities to grow and mentor others. Competitive salary and benefits offered; flexible work arrangements available.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of family law experience with meaningful courtroom and trial experience.
• Licensed to practice in Massachusetts and in good standing.
• Able to handle cases with minimal supervision — you own the file and the client relationship.
• Strong writing, negotiation, and client communication skills.
• A portable book of business is a plus (not required).
• Genuine interest in marketing yourself and the firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload independently, from initial client meeting through trial and post-judgment matters.
• First-chair hearings, motions, pretrial conferences, and trials in the Probate and Family Court.
• Develop case strategy and counsel clients directly on their options and likely outcomes.
• Handle discovery, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
• Participate in the firm's marketing and business development through networking, bar activities, and community presence.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for junior team members.

• Salary: $110,000–$140,000, commensurate with experience
