Orionplacement is seeking an on-site Family Law Attorney in Morehead City, NC. Active NC Bar license required; family law experience preferred. Entry-level candidates with strong academics and advocacy skills may apply.

You will manage divorce, custody, alimony, and related matters, counseling clients through sensitive financial and personal issues. Compensation is performance-based above base after year one, with a salary range of $60,000 to $120,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Manage family law matters involving divorce, custody, child support, alimony, property distribution, separation agreements, and related issues.
• Counsel clients through sensitive personal and financial situations.
• Develop thoughtful case strategies based on each client's circumstances and goals.
• Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Prepare thoroughly for hearings, negotiations, mediations, and courtroom proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties.
• Negotiate resolutions while remaining prepared to advocate effectively in court when necessary.
• Maintain organized case files, deadlines, and client communications.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver responsive, high-quality legal service.
