Family Law Attorney

A highly regarded family law firm serving clients facing high-stakes divorce, custody battles, support disputes, and high-net-worth estate protection is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney. The firm prepares every matter as if it will go to trial while pursuing settlement when it truly serves the client. This attorney will sit at the center of that dual strategy, delivering discreet, results-driven advocacy that protects families when the stakes are highest.

Performance Objectives

• Take primary or second-chair responsibility for 15–25 active family-law files annually, driving each to a favorable resolution through settlement or judgment within 12–18 months while controlling costs.
• Prepare and try, or second-chair, at least two contested hearings or trials per year, producing courtroom-ready evidence packages that may include forensic accounting, custody evaluations, and expert testimony.
• Negotiate and document settlements that preserve at least 85% of the economic value identified through cost-benefit analyses, documented in written client memoranda.
• Collaborate daily with investigators, paralegals, and outside experts to produce complete discovery responses and declarations that withstand judicial scrutiny.
• Maintain 24-hour client-response discipline on high-conflict and high-profile matters, ensuring no communication gap that could compromise strategy or confidentiality.
• Contribute to post-judgment modification and enforcement work that protects previously obtained orders, targeting a 90% success rate on enforcement motions.

Environment & Resources

You will report to the founding partners and work as part of a close-knit legal team that includes licensed investigators and senior paralegals. You will have immediate access to an established network of forensic accountants, appraisers, custody evaluators, and other specialized experts. Hybrid flexibility may be available once you have demonstrated independent case ownership.
