Job summary

The Law Office of Bryan Fagan, based in Humble, TX, seeks a seasoned Family Law Attorney to join a supportive legal team. You will manage a full caseload involving divorces, custody matters, SAPCRs, and related proceedings, with marketing and billing support handling routine overhead.

You will lead from intake to final decree, leveraging a strong Texas bar license and at least two years of Texas Family Law litigation experience. A collaborative climate and dedicated paralegal support await.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Texas bar license for at least 2 years.
• Dedicated Texas Family Law litigation experience (minimum 2 years).
• Strong courtroom presence and ability to manage a high-impact docket under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead contested and non-contested divorces, child custody, adoptions, SAPCRs, modifications and protective orders.
• Represent clients in local courts with confidence and clarity.
• Take depositions, participate in mediations, and handle first-chair trials with deep knowledge of Texas Family Code.
• Provide compassionate, results-driven representation to clients during difficult times.

You’re a courtroom-ready advocate who wins for families, but solo or small-firm practice has buried you in administrative work. At the Law Office of Bryan Fagan, our intake team signs the clients, our billing team handles the collections, and our systems take care of the overhead. That leaves you free to prepare, advocate and win.

The Law Office of Bryan Fagan practices family law, estate planning and probate, and criminal defense across 18 Texas locations. In Houston we have our Corporate and Heights offices, and statewide we serve clients in Abilene, Angleton, Atascocita, Austin, Dallas, Dickinson, El Paso, Fort Worth, Galveston, Humble, Kingwood, Richmond, Rockwall, San Antonio, The Woodlands and Victoria, with more locations on the way.

What You’ll Do

No lead generation. No collections. Our marketing and operations teams keep your docket full and your billing current, so you can take high-stakes family law cases from intake to final decree.

• Set the Strategy: Lead contested and non-contested divorces, child custody, adoptions, SAPCRs, modifications, protective orders and other family case matters.
• Own the Courtroom: Represent clients in the surrounding counties and courts with confidence and clarity.
• Litigate at a High Level: Take depositions, handle mediations and first-chair trials, drawing on deep command of the Texas Family Code.
• Guide Clients Through Hard Times: Deliver compassionate, results-driven representation when families need it most.

• A client services team that fields routine client calls and updates, so your time stays on the work only you can do.

How Success Is Measured

No time clock. You manage your own schedule, with performance measured against a 1,500-hour annual billable standard and earn monetary rewards for hours work above and beyond the standard.

What We’re Looking For

A "battle-tested" advocate who is ready to step into a powerhouse platform.

• The Credentials: A valid Texas bar license for a minimum of 2 years
• The Experience: At least 2 years of dedicated Texas Family Law litigation.
• The Skillset: A fearless presence in the courtroom and the ability to manage a high-impact docket under pressure. You are a highly organized advocate experienced in family law hearings, and estate / guardianship proceedings. From initial consults to the precision drafting of pleadings and discovery, you bring energy and discipline to every stage of the litigation process.
• The Tech: Proficient in Clio, TxDoc, Google Suite, (or similar software) and modern e-filing systems.
