Job summary

South Asian Network (SAN) seeks a Family Law Attorney to provide trauma-informed legal representation to survivors of gender-based violence as part of SAN’s survivor-centered legal services model.

The role collaborates with advocates and case managers to support survivor safety, stability, and long-term family well-being through direct family law services, limited DV-related immigration support, and community legal education.

Responsibilities

• Provide family law representation in cases involving abuse, including restraining orders, custody, visitation, and support
• Deliver survivor-centered legal counseling and court representation with a trauma-informed approach
• Collaborate with advocates, case managers, and legal partners to ensure coordinated services
• Support DV-related immigration relief in coordination with immigration counsel, as appropriate
• Participate in community education, legal clinics, and Know Your Rights workshops
• Contribute to program development, legal workflows, and compliance with grant requirements
